The Road Transport Amendment (Driver License Disqualification) Bill 2017 was assented on Friday 13 October 2017 in the Legislative Assembly, and will come into effect imminently.

So, if you are sitting out a lengthy disqualification but have been of good behaviour for at least 2 years, you could be eligible to get your license back through a Local Court application to get you back on the road sooner.
